I planned, optimized and later supervised the creation of the VGT Meter Data Management System. With billions of data points, it is a key component in our data pipeline.

For the VGT Virtual Power Plant, I planned the networking and the availability concept of the live Secondary Control Reserve.

For VGT I supervised the development of an energy billing system which is able to handle dynamic prices as well as complex tariff models found in various types of energy communities.

OrtsNetz
Project OrtsNetz was a P2P trading Platform for local energy communities. I was responsible for the architecture and the implementation of the platform. It got awarded the Wadd d'Or in 2025.

Customer Platform
One of the main projects I was involved in was the VGT Customer Portal. It is in production at over 30 Swiss utilities. During my time at VGT, I first started by contributing as a developer and later took over the role of the Tech Lead / Product Owner.

Anomaly Detection
As my Bachelor Thesis, I developed an Anomaly Detection and Substitution System for VGT, which is used to find anomalies and fill gaps in load profiles of smart meters.
